Burcott, the former master bedroom, is the bed and breakfast’s deluxe suite. Recently refurbished with a sumptuous superking Vispring Prestige base and Burgess hand made mattress with all natural fillings from their Binary 3000 collection. With an eclectic mix of old world charm combined with the contemporary touch of a Laura Ashley wallpaper, Farrow and Ball eco friendly paint, this double aspect room is extremely comfortable. Overlooking the croquet lawn on the south and the ancient plum orchard on the west it is bright and spacious with a beautiful solid elm floor.The bed is dressed in fine 400 thread count sateen quality Egyptian cotton and a feather light goose down duvet and pillows, to give a heavenly night’s rest. It is “like floating on a cloud” according to one of our guests. We anticipate your every comfort in this lovely bed and breakfast.
Luxury 50 gsm bath towels and William Hunt Saville Row 100% cotton robes add to the feeling of relaxation .
The room also features an antique wardrobe, desk, a pair of very comfortable high backed arm chairs and limited edition art work. Guests are welcome to browse the well stocked book case.
