Sorry - not had time to keep a photo a day on this page - too much time clearing up and feeding puppies :)
Day 2:
'Good job I've got enough teats for this lot'
'Perfect, tiny n tired' Day 1: Skye gave birth to nine beautiful puppies a day early on the 21st June 2006. She suffered from 'inertia' (not having contractions), so we took her into the vets..... Skye really had no idea what was going on at first - she had a bit of a breather after the first four had been born so we tried to get her to lick and suckle the puppies. We took them out of the box (where we had put them for safe keeping while she gave birth) and she didn't want to know - we put them on her teats and she jumped up and got in the box - the expression on her face says it all :)
