Skye gave birth to nine beautiful puppies on 21st June 2006. We have now found homes for all of them.
Skye has called them NoirNuit (black dog), Notte (black bitch), Sirius and Nimbus (yellow dogs), Circe (yellow bitch), Orion, Galaxy and Aries (chocolate dogs) and Venus (chocolate bitch). They have been registered with The Kennel Club which means that you get six weeks insurance.
This is Skye's first litter. She was mated with Weymouth Harbour Master an American chocolate lab owned by Christine Harris of Rooklane Labradors. He has a hip score of 3:3, Skye has a hip score of 5:4. Both have clear eyes.
Skye has been brought up as a family pet and has always lived indoors. Skye is the most active and intelligent labarador I know (without an ounce of bias :) - she loves swimming, running and learning tricks. Her puppies live with her in the kitchen - these are not kennel dogs. We also own Skye's dam and 'aunt' - all three are wonderfully friendly labs. They are well used to children (an eleven year old nephew has spent much of the last four weeks in their bed, he was joined for a week by the 2 year old grandaughter).
They will be available from around the 2nd to the 23rd of August (depending on how mature they are - some puppies mature quicker than others). We also want to spread out the puppies leaving so that Skye won't be distressed by them all leaving at once.
